Get ready to light up the night at Schenley Plaza on Saturday, December 7th, for an unforgettable evening of entertainment and creativity with Celestial Choreography: A Drone Extravaganza, one of GLOWLAND’s, powered by the Oakland Business Improvement District, signature events. The sky will come alive during a stunning custom drone light show by Sky Elements, finalists on America’s Got Talent, and synchronized to a high-energy soundtrack, promising to captivate audiences of all ages. With hundreds of onlookers expected, the event will transform the sky into a mesmerizing canvas of colors and patterns you won’t want to miss. 💫

But that’s just the beginning! Kids ages 5-17 are invited to enter the Art in the Sky contest, where their original drawings will be selected to appear as part of the drone display, soaring high above Schenley Plaza. It's a unique opportunity for young artists to see their work brought to life in an out-of-this world way. The Art in the Sky entry deadline is 5:00pm EST on October 25, 2024. Winners will be announced on Friday, November 8, 2024. (This contest is now closed)

Daytime Fun and Evening Magic
Throughout the day on December 7th Schenley Plaza will offer free STEAM-focused activities for children, blending art and science through activities hosted by some of Pittsburgh’s favorite vendors and educational providers. 

As the evening approaches, the entertainment heats up with live performances by local musicians and gravity-defying feats from stilt-walkers. Don’t forget to stop by the Glow Lounge for festive beverages and treats, perfect for warming up while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
